This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the NSFW mobile app (Android package com.lifelessons.nsfw) collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the app and to this website.
In short: we collect the information you give us when you create a profile, your approximate or precise location when you use proximity discovery, and technical data needed to run the service. Your chat messages are end-to-end encrypted. We do not sell your personal data. You can delete your account and data at any time.

Premium subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive purchase and subscription status, but we never receive or store your payment card details.

Chat messages are protected with end-to-end encryption using AES-256-GCM, with keys exchanged between devices. We cannot read the contents of your encrypted messages in the normal course of operating the service. If you report a message for abuse, the reported message is decrypted for review as part of the moderation process you initiated.
Data in transit is protected with TLS, and data at rest is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with access limited to authorised personnel and service accounts.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We use the following processors, who handle data on our instructions:
We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you use the app from outside the United States, your data will be transferred and processed there. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is removed or irreversibly anonymised as described on our Account Deletion page. Automated retention policies run daily and delete older records — such as logs and diagnostic data — once their retention period has passed. Some records may be retained for a limited period where the law requires it or to resolve disputes and prevent abuse.

You can exercise access, portability, and deletion directly in the app under Settings → Privacy. You can also email us at lake@thelifelessonsgroup.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
NSFW is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
